Who we are, and how we look after your details.
Who we are
We’re Russ Simmons and Mike Hall, real estate agents with Ajijic Real Estate. The company’s official name is Corporativo Ajijic Real Estate S.C., and its office is at Morelos #4, Centro, Ajijic, Jalisco 45920, Mexico.
“R&M” is simply the name the two of us work under. When you buy or sell with us, your agreement is with Ajijic Real Estate, and the company stands behind our work.
Your privacy
We use what you send us only to help you find a home and to stay in touch. We will never sell your details to anyone. We only share them when you’re buying or selling a home and someone involved needs them, such as the notario (the official who handles the sale), a bank or a valuer.
You can ask us at any time to show you what we have, correct it, or delete it.
Mexican privacy law requires the company to publish a privacy notice (in Spanish, an aviso de privacidad). It gives the full details:
Our professional standards
Ajijic Real Estate publishes the code of ethics of AMPI, the Mexican association of real estate professionals, and a letter setting out your rights as a customer. Both are in English and Spanish:
About the numbers we mention
When we mention typical figures, such as the usual size of a two-bedroom home or how most homes here are paid for, they come from our own look at the homes listed for sale around the lake. They are general averages, shared in good faith, and not a guarantee.
If you’d like the figures for a particular neighborhood or home, just ask and we’ll go through them with you.
